Freshmen only should report to the Main Cafeteria at 7:45 AM for a special morning program. All other grades should report to Homeroom by 10:15 AM. Here's to a great school year!

Over the past two days, Northern Highlands staff have been hard at work participating in professional development workshops and preparing to welcome our students back this fall. We’re especially grateful to our 403(b) providers for generously providing lunch during our sessions -- thank you for your support! We’re thrilled to greet our Highlanders tomorrow and wish everyone a fantastic start to the new school year!

With two weeks of band camp under their belt, the Highlands Regiment is gearing up for their performances. The weather was perfect as families enjoyed the preview and a BBQ.

Shoutout to Senior Isabella (Bella) Zrebiec! Bella is one of our dedicated student volunteers with the Allendale Green Team, and yesterday she led an inspiring litter cleanup event called “The Pick It Up Project.”

With the powerful motto “Be Part of the Solution, Not the Pollution,” Bella rallied volunteers to help remove 36 pounds of litter from Allendale’s public spaces — including fishing hooks and lines, plastic bottles, balloon fragments, and much more.

Thank you, Bella, and a huge thank you to all our amazing student volunteers for helping keep Allendale beautiful!

Student Computer pickup will occur on August 21, 22, 25, & 26. The technology department will be located in the library cafe. Devices can be picked up on those days from 9AM-11AM and then again from 1PM-3PM each of those days. Day before a long holiday weekend, but Highlands doesn’t slow down. Classrooms are being renovated, new flooring is going in for our world language classes, miles of cable are being run, week one of Summer Academy is wrapping up, and new furniture is arriving. Proud to see our district continually investing in our students.
