Google Art Project is a tour of the some of the world's greatest museums.  For featured artwork, you can zoom in very close to study the artist's technique!  You can also take a Google Maps-style "tour" of some of these great museums.

 Reference articles on a variety of subjects, including art and art history.  Search the entire collection, since many articles on art history are located in reference books in the History or Nation & World section.
