Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
I trust this finds you well as we bring the 2024-2025 school year to a close. We are pleased to announce that we will be utilizing a digital form in Genesis to collect vehicle registration information for the 2025-2026 school year.
To obtain a parking permit, students must complete the digital form in full, ensure it is signed by both the student and a parent/guardian, and submit it through the Genesis Parent Portal. The form will be available in mid-July. Parking spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the order in which completed forms are submitted.
Please be reminded that seniors will have the privilege to park on school grounds unless their privileges have been revoked. Students who do not submit their forms will not receive a parking permit and will not be allowed to park on campus.
Additionally, any outstanding fines must be paid before a parking pass is granted.
All parking spaces in both the Upper and Lower Lots will be numbered. Students will be required to park in their designated spot and display their parking permit.
Any vehicle parked in any lot without a decal/permit will be considered unauthorized and will be ticketed by the Allendale Police Department. These students will also be subjected to the Northern Highlands Code of Conduct, possibly losing their senior-year parking privileges. Illegally parked vehicles (e.g., parking in handicapped spaces, along curbs or fences, or on sidewalks) are subject to being ticketed by the Allendale Police Department and/or towed.
Should you have any questions, please contact me at (201) 327-8700 x501 or via email at laroccato@northernhighlands.org.
Thank you for your time and continued cooperation. Have a great summer!
