    Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.  The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex.  Much is not yet understood.  But we do know what the greeks knew; that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong;  that hardy spirits and tough minds usually inhabit  sound gods.

    PARENT EXCUSE NOTES
    Two notes per marking period  will be accepted without loss of points to a student's grade.   Students MUST get dressed for class with the parent excuse note.  Students who submit a parent note excusing them from activity for a day and do not change for class will lose points toward their grade.    Only a doctors note excuses a student from changing for class.

    Exercise in any form is the basis for good health and weight control.  Get at least 30 minutes a day.   Use your Wellness Class to meet the 30 minute a day goal.
