    Dear Parents/Guardians:
     
    Towards the latter part of the year, we are often questioned by parents with regard to our summer academic programs. Some want to know if the programs are school sponsored, others feel that too much information is being sent to their homes. To address these concerns, Northern Highlands has provided parents with a single document explaining the programs offered in our building over the summer. Handling the notification in this manner will ensure that parents receive information about all programs, what the affiliation is (district sponsored or not) as well as the appropriate contact information without receiving numerous emails. 
     
    In previous years, we had several enrichment programs, which also included our Northern Highlands Summer Academy. Information on our Summer Academy was sent to parents on January 13, 2023. It should be noted that most courses are full as the registration closes this Friday, March 31.
     
    In addition to the Summer Academy, there is another program that has been available to our students for many years. More information on the Summer College Essay Intensive program can be found here.
