    Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
     
    Northern Highlands will once again host our Summer Academy. The academy has been a huge success for our students and we aim to provide them with yet another wonderful experience.
     
    If your children are thinking about taking a course for advancement or wants to do something fun this summer, then they should join our Northern Highlands Summer Academy. In this program, the courses are taught by our own talented Highlands staff. The Summer Academy is only open to Northern Highlands students.  
     
    The following courses will again be offered this summer:
     
    • Financial Management (fulfills the Financial Literacy graduation requirement)
    • Geometry
    • Honors Biology/Lab
    • Honors Chemistry/Lab
    • Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry
     
    NEW courses to our Summer Academy program will be:
     
    • SAT English
    • SAT Math
    • The College Experience (includes guided work on developing a college essay, navigating SCOIR, completing the Common App, and any required application supplementals).
