*Although we now have 1:1 devices, I still recommend that you purchase a notebook. Studies have shown that the mechanical act of writing helps us to remember new information. Downloading and/or taking pictures of information does nothing to aid in retention, and even typing notes out or using a stylus on your device are less effective than old fashioned pen on paper.
