Quizzes may be announced or unannounced.

    Organization “The Key to Success”

All notebooks must be kept in order.  There will be many handouts during this class: worksheets, guided notes, maps, readings, HW, just to name a few.  It is important to keep these handouts in the 3 ring binder when they are handed out.  Many of these handouts will also be on school wires, however keeping the notebook up to date and organized is the expected priority.

    Grading

Each marking period grade will be determined using a Total Points System:

    Homework……………………..10 to 20 points each

    Quizzes…………………………30 to 60 points each

    Tests/Projects…………………..100 points each

    Make-up Work

All students are expected to make up any missed work on their time.

Work is to be made up in a timely fashion, according to the school’s policy.

Work not made up will become a zero.

    Extra Help

Extra help is available after school Monday to Thursday.  I will be in room 221 after school until 3:00 pm.  It is always best to schedule ahead of time so I can prepare additional resources if necessary.  Extra help may also be at other times, but they must be scheduled ahead of time.
