Required materials for all courses:

• a 3-ring binder filled with lined paper* or a separate notebook* and a folder with ample pockets for handouts
• a pen or pencil
• the work we are considering, which will always be supplied to you at the beginning of a unit
• your charged device 

*Although we will now have 1:1 devices, we still recommend that you write notes on paper. Studies have shown that the mechanical act of writing helps us to remember new information. Downloading and/or taking pictures of information does nothing to aid in retention, and even typing notes out or using a stylus on your device is less effective than old-fashioned pen-on-paper.
